I live in London and traveled to Srinagar with my family during the first week of August 2025. We booked our trip through United Royal Tours, which had been recommended by my sister. We 1 family (2 + 2 ) had booked 7N8D package in March end 2025 from united royal tour located in Srinagar. I must say it was amazing experience with them. Our package was managed by Ms Misbah. She had done superb job. She gave us proper iternary and managed it quite smoothly. She was getting update every day on call regarding hotels and trip which was very much appreciable. She was ready to rectify any minor problem also on the spot but we didn't have issues at all.
As we had decided the tour in very short time and it was a peak season , we didn't get hotels in the centre of Srinagar . We got it a little bit far from the city centre but it was very good hotel. We stayed 4 nights there . We stayed 2 n in pahalgam. That was also very good hotel. Facilities in both the hotels were top notch like Round the clock hot water room heater electric blankets apart from other regular amenities. Most important thing was food was very tasty . We had our home food for kids but we didn't needed that. Kids also like the taste.
Car provided was very neat and clean. Driver Mr Faisal was very much supportive , cooperative and very much punctual in time. He was updated our iternary and he followed it perfectly. He had a good knowledge of local areas. He gave us good information abt sight seeing and some local Kashmiri cultures. He was very nice guy.
Our last night was in houseboat . It was very good hb. Interior was having retro touch with good hospitality provided by caretaker. In fact we had best food of tour in hb which include Kashmiri rice and Kashmiri mung dal..

First of all Heena from the agency was very sweet and helpful. She suggested us what to do and what not to do when in Kashmir. She curated our itinerary very well to make it enjoyable with less tiring travels. The vehicle and its driver alloted to us were really good and cooperative. The hotels provided for accomodation felt premium with the houseboat being the best. My advice to anyone reading this is never miss the houseboat experience through United Royal Tours and Travels. The rooms and food were great and felt like home cooked.

The support and service provided by the contact person Heena madam of URT was awesome. According to our quote, the tempo traveller vehicle with driver Arif Bhai was excellent, hotels and house boat provided in Srinagar , hotels at Sonmarg, Gulmarg, pehalgam and Daksum were good. One Hour Shikara ride needs to be done for 2 hours. We all are recommanding URT , Srinagar to book tour through them. The food at all hotels were good. Misbah ji has taken good care during our visit. We travelled to Kashmir from 24th to 30th Dec.The trip was co-ordinated by Shoaib. The trip might not be this good without his support. He helped us with planning the trip and places to visit in much better way than what was mentioned in the itenary.
Shoaib not only gave us a detailed information regarding the places we visited, he even helped us negotiate with pony riders so we were not overcharged. He was always present on time and though we were usually a bit late he never complained.

Our family trip to Kashmir was well coordinated by Ms.Hina. Ms. Hina was prompt in her responses and we were given a good package.We were allotted an Innova for the trips which was well maintained. And the cab driver, Firdous Bhai was comfortable in English which made our communication much easier. He used to guide us about what to look for and what to avoid with respect to some of the tourist traps which are common in popular destinations. The hotels given in the package were clean and comfortable, even though I wish the food was better.

We just went to Kashmir Trip with United Royal Tours And Travels. Very good people. They organized the hotels as per our demand. We went with 3+ star package. Hotels were very nice. Food was very good. Everyday morning they will call you to know if everything is going okay or not. No other travel agency did that. Our driver was very good. He acted as a guide. But sometimes Driver will suggest you to do shopping or some other activities as he knows someone and he will get commission. You have to ignore those. This happens whenever you go. so it is normal.
As this was my first Kashmir trips, I asked around different travel agencies for packages. Trust me, every others packages were very costly with the same 3+ stars accommodations. We Visited Gulmarg-Pahalgam-Srinagar we couldn't make it to sonmarg

We Stayed at Gulmarg Pine spring hotel which has a great room and a delicious buffet.

Enjoyed Skiing and Snowmobile , Sledging thanks to ishfaq our guide.

We stayed at Eden Resorts at pahalgam and mind you the best hotel I would recommend we reached at 9pm yet thanks to Misbah they kept dinner for four of us.

further Visited chandanwari, Betaab valley, aru valley and Reached Srinagar on 3rd day stayed at Solar residency not happy with food

I loved the houseboat and especially Bashir bhai delicious Dal Tadka. would love to visit again with family in summer

Just a Small Tip: if you're going in winter try to possibly negotiate in advance for ski boots and 4x4 chain Cars as normal cars don't go high up due to frozen roads.
